Brian McCarthy describes his New York country house as "Greek Revival meets American Farmhouse."
The wood pergola overlooking the pool was inspired by a Greek style temple on the gardens of Highgrove House, Prince Charles country home.
The interiors are classicly styled, dotted with collected treasures and modern artwork. McCarthy feels that a home should be filled with things you love rather than be "decorated."
A large mural titled Spring Cleaning by Kati Heck in the Living Room.
Walls are painted Benjamin Moore Linen White and the trim is Stonington Gray.
The stair wall showcases a wire art collection.
I love the striped wool blankets in the guest room. They are from Dabney McAvoy Home.
My favorite vignette from this home. Round mirror and Italian sconces atop an antique Swedish chest.
Brian has a love for ethic patterns. The trim in the master bedroom and bath is BM Ebony King.
I love the saddle colored leather paired with the charcoal fireplace surround.
The wallpaper in this guest room is Albert Hadley's Fireworks for Hinson & Company.
