Monday Inspiration from Designer Ohara Davies-Gaetano

Have you guys seen the new issue of House Beautiful?  There's a great feature entitled "The World According to Bunny & John." It showcases The Bunny Williams' home in Punta Cana. It's as fabulous as you can imagine.

There's a lot of great inspiration this month. I feel like the last few issues have really showcased some beautiful spaces with a great mix of design genres, rooms of color as well as neutral spaces and fresh ideas. It's a great time in the design industry folks! Lots of exciting stuff happening with some extremely talented designers and artisans turning out some fabulous eye candy.

This Andalusian style home in California designed by Ohara Davies-Gaetano is beautifully layered with pale neutrals, lots of texture and antiques paired with a modern sensibility.

The architect, Rob Glass, created the perfect foundation using plastered walls, carved ceilings, Moorish arches and reclaimed materials like terra cotta tiles, limestone and wood doors from the South of France & Monaco.  Not a bad place to start for a designer. Not too shabby at all. Ohara did a fabulous job layering the interiors to create a harmonious feeling in every room.

Take a look at this home. It is exquisite!

This is the room that initially drew me in to the home. It's not the living room as I first thought. It's the Master Bedroom folks!

Read the entire article here. The designer gives some great insight on her process in creating this beautifully designed home.
