Show me a room with limestone walls and I'm a happy girl:)
As a lover of neutral palettes with lots of visual texture, limestone interior walls are near the top of my list as a favorite design element.
Although I love them, they do have their place. I'm not a fan of powerful elements like this one just plopped into a house if it doesn't make sense. The stone has to be indigenous to the region and fit with the architectural style.
When done properly, it's like having a statement art piece as the star of the show.
