The copper hood and beam detail is so so good. I love the large pottery they have up there in lieu of numerous smaller things.
The warmth of wood is magical. I love a classic all white kitchen, but the texture and warmth from the wood and limestone wall is so beautiful.
The minimal accent lights on the stained ceiling are like little twinkling stars.
I even like the charming black & white check band behind the range.
I could gladly spend a long morning here, with an endless cup of coffee and a good read.
My favorite spaces have things that beckon you to come and touch them. They ask you to feel their texture, see how it's made and admire it's beauty.

Oh how I wish I had that ceiling height in my old farmhouse! I am giving my 15 year old kitchen a facelift and there are some things that architecturally just can not be changed... I love the look of the AD kitchen here!! xo K
ReplyDeleteI know what you mean! We had a vaulted living room with cedar beams in our previous home and I miss it:( Really looking forward to seeing what you decide for your kitchen! Xo Charlotte
