Kitchen Trend Spotting: Matte Black

I love a white kitchen. But for years, there has been a formula. White cabinetry + Calcutta + Subway + Stainless = Pretty Kitchen.
I'm really enjoying the shift in using other materials and colors.
All of these kitchens have used matte black range hoods and they are awesome. The hood is the "fireplace" of the kitchen and is a major focal point.
I'm loving these kitchens! (I know, a lot of them are still white...baby steps folks!)
