Pedestals are one of my favorite ways to add architectural interest to a room.
They don't take up much space and are perfect to highlight your favorite pottery, geodes, architectural fragments, bust, urns or greenery.
They can be a simple rectangular wood box, lucite, metal framed stand, or a marble or wood column.
